Sky: Zaniolo’s agent set for crucial meeting with Roma as Milan and Juventus lurk

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be an important meeting this week between Roma and the agent of Nicolo Zaniolo regarding the future of the forward, a report claims.

According to what Sky (via MilanNews) are reporting, there will be a meeting this week between Roma and Claudio Vigorelli – Zaniolo’s agent – to discuss the future of the forward. Juventus have been after him for some time, while the broadcaster adds that Milan’s management are keen on him too.

Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) reported this morning that the first reason that Milan are so keen on Zaniolo is because they need to buy at least one Italian player in the summer market to boost their homegrown quote (players from Italian academies) for the Serie A and Champions League squad list regulations.

The other major factor that is tempting Milan is that they believe the Italy international still has a big margin to grow in the right environment, thus aligning with the vision of investing in young talent.

  1. I don’t understand why we don’t just focus on de Ketelaere for the attack, he’s shown his quality in the UCL, he’s tall, not injury prone, and can really become a concrete option for that trequartista spot

  2. This news are is agent putting bait out to see if Roma improves his contract offer or if someone is dumb enough to pay 50+ millions for him!So i dont believe on bit that we are trying to sign such bad player Salamakers has the same gol contribuiton and Messias has better stats them him not to mention the injury record and yellow and red cards he gets!
