Montella: “Tolisso? He is a player that I like a lot”

Milan are currently very active on the transfer market, with reinforcing their midfield being their current priority, according to reports.

One of the names mentioned by various media outlets in the recent days is Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso. Corriere Della Sera claims that the midfielder is liked by current Milan manager Vincenzo Montella, who said this about the player to the Italian paper: “Tolisso? He is a player that I like a lot.”

Montella signed a new two-year contract with the Rossoneri yesterday, keeping him as manager until 2019. In an interview, Milan’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli commented on his strategies for the transfer market, including Montella.

“I know I’ll ruin his vacation a bit but Montella has to keep his phone on,” Mirabelli said to MilanTV.

With that said, Mirabelli and Montella will have many discussions this summer regarding who to sign, and it looks like Tolisso could be one of their major targets.

The French midfielder would cost around €40m for the San Siro side.
