The squad numbers for AC Milan have been confirmed by Lega Serie A and two players have changed their number since last season. Rafael Leao is the obvious one, taking the No.10 shirt following Brahim Diaz’s exit.
Leao renewed his contract with Milan towards the end of last season and when Diaz’s return to Real Madrid was confirmed, he decided to also take the No.10 shirt. It’s one of two changes from last season, as Alessandro Florenzi also has switched from 25 to 42.
The numbers have been confirmed by Lega Serie A (via Mattia Barzaghi, see below) and the new signings are also present, of course. There could still be some movement on the market but those arriving will have to pick one of the available numbers.

In short, there will be no more changes between now and the start of the season. Milan will take on Bologna on Monday evening and Leao, with the No.10 shirt, will be hoping to lead his side to victory.
