Milan headed into the clash with three consecutive games without a win and clinching all three points was thus a must. Fortunately, after a rather poor game overall, Okafor came off the bench and added the energy that was needed to seal the deal.

Milan will take on Slavia Praha in the Europa League next and then, at the weekend, they will face Empoli. Two wins are needed from these games to build on the confidence boost from last night, but the performances must be a lot better to succeed with this.
