AC Milan will take on Sampdoria this evening and it’s safe to say that they will get great support from their fans. With the Champions League train leaving the station, the Rossoneri sure could use it.
After getting knocked out by Inter in the Champions League, Milan can now fully focus on the top-four race in Serie A. The problem, however, is that just three games remain and the Rossoneri will likely have to win all of them.
First up is Sampdoria, who already have been relegated to Serie B. In every sense of the description, therefore, it’s a must-win game for Milan. They will get fantastic support from their fans as usual, with 70k+ expected at the stadium tonight.
It remains to be seen if Stefano Pioli’s men can rise to the occasion. Missing out on the top four would be a huge blow for the club, not just sporting-wise but also financially (this season they collected a lot in revenue).
