AC Milan Women make it two wins from two by beating San Marino 5-0: A Summary

By Steph Insixiengmay -

The AC Milan Women marked Matchday Two of the Serie A Femminile season with a resounding win over San Marino Academy.

Goals by Laura Agard (’12), Christy Grimshaw (’30, ’45), Natasha Dowie (’51, ’82’) ensured the victory for the Rossonere.

The match saw the team play in a more fluid style, and it paid off in a big way for them as they netted five goals of exceptional quality.

The only downside to the match was the news that midfielder Refiloe Jane had to be removed from the starting lineup due to injury. There are no details of her injury at the moment, but at this stage we can only hope that the injury isn’t too serious and that she’ll recover soon in time for the next few games.

This aside, the Rossonere played a fantastic match and should be commended for it. A more detailed analysis of their performances will be posted on Sunday.
