Serie A has announced that it has elected AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni as its new councillor.
He replaces former Rossoneri director Marco Fassone, who worked at San Siro under Yonghong Li’s ownership and left the club last summer.
Scaroni racked up 13 votes, and he only needed 11 to achieve the position, having beaten competition from Roma’s Mauro Baldissoni – who got just five votes.
