Adli bids emotional farewell to Milan: “I wish you all the best in the world” – photo

Yacine Adli has sent a goodbye message to his AC Milan team-mates and fans after he completed a move to Fiorentina earlier today.

A statement on Fiorentina’s official website confirmed that Adli has signed for La Viola on a loan deal which includes an option for them to make it permanent in the 2025 summer transfer window.

Adli will wear shirt number 29 at his new club and he could actually face Milan on October 6 when Paulo Fonseca’s side make the trip to Florence for the meeting at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

For now, though, he has to say goodbye and he did so in an Instagram post addressed to the club, his now former team-mates and the fans.

“Rossoneri family,

“I don’t know how to start this message because I have so much to tell you. Since I arrived in Milan I immediately fell in love with this club, of this team and of these colours.

“I’ve had some different moments, some were hard where I’ve had to grit my teeth and work hard but I’ll never forget all the amazing moments I’ve had in this shirt.

“To my teammates, I love you! I love you so much and I wish the best for you and your families. This group is different and it has been an honor to be able to live every day with you.

“To the fans, Thank you. Thank you for your tireless support and for all the moments of joy we shared. They will always remain in my heart.

“I wish you all the best in the world. See you soon ❤️”

  1. Good luck Yacine.

I hope you get the chance to show the haters what you are made off. Wish you all the best.

Thank you for always showing passion for the jersey and for loving this club.

  2. Next, ship Bennacer off, and we’ll have cut the heart and soul out of the team. Business business business numbers numbers numbers is this working?…..USA USA USA

      1. Benny is a bench player???

And you don’t have to be a starter to have heart nor be one of the heart and souls of a team. That person – starter or not – brings teammates together. If you played sports at any competitive level you would know that.

Another Redbird Lover always coming to the side of ownership and this management lol.

I think the Redbird Lovers are more in love with the owner being American than the club itself.

        Hilarious

  3. Would be fun to see him winning the Ballon d’Or one day. 🙂

Probably not going to happen but hopefully he’ll have a successful career and good things happen to him. But not in the expense of our club though.

  4. So currently we only have Reinjders, fofana, lotus and musah as the midfielder with Benny uncertainties and Pobega and Adli moving on. I think we should keep Benny but he hasnt been the same Benny we know a few years ago. All the injuries has really did him bad, he plays more safe. Fearful of getting injured again

  5. He’s a good boy, and also an intelligent, intellectually refined guy, that is to say, a very unusual kind of footballer. Heck, this is a football player that is fond of Mozart!

    1. That’s really pathetic man. This is liking saying I hope my kid has a car accident because he/she is poison now.
      Immature af.
How can you claim you’re a Milan supporter?

  6. In all his time here he was never played in a proper position. Would have loved to see him in a midfield 3 CM role where he belongs.

  7. Aww geez.

    Now I feel really bad.

If only someone could’ve given him a coffee or something to speed up his thought process.

Anyway you showed incredible loyalty and determination even after your difficult first season. Good luck with everthing and I genuinely hope you prove me wrong.

  8. A midfield with brain is gone and if Benna also leave then the midfield are Reijnders, Musah, RLC, and Fofana?

This is looking really bleak for Milan 🤦‍♂️

  9. I have watched Adili play for Milan, and I may not be a coach who has the technical expertise or earns huge premiums for the job, but few players in Milan today, have the vision and technical prowess Adili has for the modern game of football as it is being played by the leading teams. Adili and Reindeers, with a strong combative defensive midfielder, can make Milan a formidable force by all standards. But the greater problem is Milan’s cohesive play as a unit in three phases, defense, attack and game control. Fonseca better know what he is doing, new personnel with same old problem will produce same old result. 1 draw, 1 loss out of 2. This is already looking bad.

  10. God speed Adili, I hope you return to Milan after your loan spell, I hope they see the potential in you, just as Pioli discovered very late in his coaching career and made you a focal point of the midfield along with Reindeers and Loftus, otherwise, I pray you show the stuff you are made of in Fiorentina, and prove all skeptical wrong. Cheers brother.

  11. Fiorentina with the help of adli will beat milan home and away this season, that was how we sold pirlo to juve we all know the end…charles d k too went to atalanta became beast…milan just dont know how to use there asset…
