AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso met with the management after the SPAL game, and they gave him a boost of confidence, allegedly stating that he’s the right man for the job.
According to Sky Italia, as well as other outlets, Maldini and Leonardo, along with new CEO Ivan Gazidis, held a meeting with Gattuso after the win against SPAL. The three directors assured their faith in the 40-year-old, who can enter the winter break with a bit more ease.
In recent weeks, there had been rumours about Gattuso getting the sack, with multiple replacements being lined up. However, despite all this, it seems ‘Rino’ will remain until the end of the season.
