The agent of Jorginho has once again flirted with the idea of his client returning to Italy and wearing the AC Milan shirt.
The Italian midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge despite his importance there, with both former club Napoli and their rivals Juventus touted repeatedly as destinations.
Jorginho is a regular under new boss Thomas Tuchel and will play in the Champions League final later this month but that hasn’t stoped speculation that the 29-year-old could move on in the summer given that his desire to return to Italy has been mentioned by his agent before. He even mentioned that Milan and Inter are interested in his client.
Joao Santos – Jorginho’s representative – commented on the future of his client to the microphones of Radio Kiss Kiss, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“In his will there is also the return to Italy, but I think it will happen in a couple of years and not now. Napoli? If they don’t call us… He likes the city very much, he had wonderful years there, but now he is thinking about his career,” he said.
“He still has some years left on his contract at Chelsea. Milan? If he leaves Chelsea, with 50 million euros and a contract similar to its current one, they can think about it.”
