Agent of €40m midfielder hints at AC Milan move: “I can’t prevent it”

Dani Olmo continues to be heavily linked with AC Milan, as the news broke a few days ago that the Rossoneri have started negotiations with Dinamo Zagreb for the Spanish starlet.

However, in recent hours, doubt has been cast on the feasibility of the deal, as the total request for the player is seemingly too steep. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, talks between the parties have been put on hold for the time being.

The current request of Dinamo Zagreb is €25m plus €5m, per the reporter. In addition to that, his agent is asking for €7.5m in commission, a €3m signing bonus and €2.5m-a-year with 10% of future resale.

In an interview with Sportske Novotsky (via MilanNews.it), Andy Bara – the player’s agent – revealed that he can’t stop his client if he decides to go to Milan. Furthermore, as the Croatian outlet states, he denied the rumours of the high commission.

“If Olmo decides to go to Milan, this will happen. As an agent, I can’t prevent Dinamo, Milan and Olmo from reaching an agreement.

“I remember five years ago when Dani Olmo decided to go from Barcelona to Dinamo. Neither I nor his father Miguel persuaded him,” he concluded.
