The agent of AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer has confirmed that he will discuss the renewal of the defender after the European Championships.
Kjaer has been a great protagonist of the current tournament and will take the field as the captain of Denmark for tonight’s semi-final against England at Wembley, hoping to join Italy in the final on Sunday. The centre-back is having a great tournament after a fantastic campaign with the Rossoneri, and he has a contract with Milan that expires in 2022, but could soon renew it.
Kjaer was a very important player for Milan this past season as he teamed up well with Fikayo Tomori, as well as any other team-mate he had beside him. He has shown to be a true leader on the pitch and a perfect companion off it, and is now a real candidate for the armband.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), his agent remarked: “After the European Championships we will talk about a renewal with Milan.”
