The agent of new AC Milan star Lucas Paqueta has expressed absolutely zero regret about his client’s January move.
Paqueta arrived at the start of last month from Brazilian side Flamengo in a deal that could reach up to €45m when taking into account bonuses.
The silky midfielder has settled in well though, setting up another new Rossoneri addition in Krzysztof Piatek for the opening goal on Sunday night.
Paqueta’s agent, Eduardo Uram, is delighted with the decision to join Milan and his start to life in Serie A.
“I’m very happy, there were many possibilities for him in Europe but we chose Milan because they were convinced his technical qualities were suitable for Italian football,” he told Calciomercato.it.
“The tactics in Serie A will allow him to become even more complete. He’s adapting quickly to Gattuso’s style.
“From our first meeting with Leonardo and Maldini, we were even more convinced. They gave me excellent impressions about his inclusion in Milan’s project.”
