Agent of versatile Milan man confirms January exit is on the cards

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of AC Milan forward Fabio Borini has confirmed that his client is set for an exit in January, with interest both in Italy and abroad.

Borini has not featured since the second game of the season and has racked up just 70 minutes of league action so far, with Pioli seemingly not keen on using Borini in any position.

The 28-year-old’s representative Roberto De Fanti spoke to Sportitalia in November about the future of his client, refusing to rule out the idea of a move to a new destination.

Now, De Fanti has offered an update on the plans for Borini, with the January transfer window just over a week away from opening.

“Every coach makes choices, in January they will try to get him to play elsewhere,” he told Radio Rossonera (via PianetaMilan).

“Where? The solutions are not lacking both in Italy and in England. Milan? It was absolutely a positive experience.”

MilanNews.it claimed late last month that the idea of a return to the Premier League interests Borini, in particular Crystal Palace who have made enquiries over the past few weeks.
