Agent pledges to do ‘everything possible’ to help Milan land Chelsea midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has confirmed that a return to AC Milan this summer from Chelsea cannot be ruled out.

According to the information we have received from a source close the the entourage of the Chelsea man, Milan still appreciate the 26-year-old and spoke about him at the meeting with Marco Branca and Marco Busiello of FIRS1.

More information is expected to follow in the coming days as it seems Bakayoko really is a concrete track to complete the defensive midfield department, with Soualiho Meite having returned to Torino after his loan spell.

Calciomercato.com spoke to the player’s agent, Andy Bara, about the latest developments and he confirmed that the idea of a return to Milan cannot be excluded.

“It is possible, Milan are looking for a player with his characteristics and it is likely that they can make a proposal. At the moment Tiemouè is a Chelsea player, but there is a possibility to change his shirt and go to an Italian team,” he said.

“Milan are a great team and if the opportunity arises we will do everything possible to bring him to the Rossoneri. Maldini and Massara know him, they know what he can give. I don’t think he will go away on loan like he did to Napoli, his contract doesn’t allow it. I don’t know the price at the moment, I don’t decide on this. Milan and Chelsea are friendly clubs, if they want to do something I’m sure they will eventually do it.”

  1. We don’t need one-dimension average player like Bakayoko. The fact that he could not convince any the clubs that have loaned him to sign him just shows that he lacks the quality.

Not to mention his high salary, which does not fit current Milan financial situation.
