Agresti: Ibrahimovic influenced as Milan want Rangnick to implement youth revolution

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to undergo a youth-led revolution this summer which could spell bad news for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a journalist has claimed.

A number of different outlets have claimed that CEO Ivan Gazidis has made current Red Bull Head of Football Development Ralf Rangnick his number one target to take over as head coach and possibly also sporting director.

Meanwhile, the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic also appears to be completely up in the air, with some sources reporting a willingness to discuss a renewal while others believe he will end his second spell with the Rossoneri after just half a seaosn.

Calciomercato.com journalist Stefano Agresti spoke to Radio Sportiva about what the future holds for the Rossoneri, and confirmed some of the speculation doing the rounds at the moment.

“Milan will insert many young players to be valued and Rangnick is considered suitable to implement this policy. Probably Ibra from the tactical point of view would be influenced by this choice,” he said (via MilanNews).
