Al-Hilal are confident that they will get the deal for Theo Hernandez over the line, according to the latest from Matteo Moretto.
It was a few weeks ago that the news first emerged about a mega offer from Al-Hilal to Theo, in a bid to convince him to try a new adventure in the Saudi Pro League. While an agreement was reached quickly with Milan over a €35m fee, the player rejected the idea of going there.

Atletico Madrid then came onto the scene and they seemed keen on bringing the Frenchman back to LaLiga. However, everything went cold on that front as the Rossoneri did not accept their offer of less than €20m.
Theo to Al-Hilal accelerates
Last night, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that for the first time Theo has shown an opening to the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia and joining up with Simone Inzaghi, who just became the Al-Hilal boss after leaving Inter.
Now, Matteo Moretto had provided an update too, stating: “Al-Hilal wants to have the definitive yes from Theo Hernández as soon as possible and is also pushing in these hours to reach the conclusion of the negotiation.
“Al-Hilal are currently very confident of closing for Theo Hernández. The contacts made this evening were further positive and now the Arab club is counting on getting the signatures soon to avoid surprises.”
It seems as though the final hurdle to overcome therefore is an agreement on personal terms, but there is a door open now that was previously locked shut.
Really not great outcome for anyone this. If we sell, we better have the replacement hit the ground running. Better than going to Inter or Juve I guess.
I didn’t wish to see it end like this, but the player no longer wishes to play with Milan and had a sh!tty attitude throughout the season and the management mishandled the situation and disrespected the player and the club.
So if he’s gonna leave, might as well leave for the highest fee possible and not for a rival.
I doubt he will be properly replaced, actually it’s more likely we end up with a bum from Ligue 1, Ligue 2 or some weak a$$ leagues from eastern europe, but at least there will be a small possibility that he’ll be properly replaced if we got money.
Bro he is forced out of the Club he always wanted to stay. He played years with a laughable contract compared to other Players. Alphonso Davies had a bad season and Bayern give him a 15 million salary. Absolute shame how we treat our Players. Same with Maignan. This management and many fans deserve players like Emerson or Musah

Nobody forced him out. He timed his departure badly. Theo and Mike were influenced by Deshamp telling them without UCL competition they won’t play the world cup. In Theo case Athletico tried to be cheap. They even tried low ball Liverpool trying to get Robertson for free.

Sorry guys but I say good riddance and thanks for the few good years. I think he ruined the last season with HORRIBLE defensive skills. Time and time again he lost games because he was a sieve at the back. They should have got rid of him in Jan.
Good footballer but bad attitude i can tell his mind wasn’t at milan again these past season , the way we conclude goals from the left side and his little effort to run , we all. Know he has pace but some matches they pass him like
