AC Milan and Inter will square off tonight looking to book a trip to the capital as the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg will take place at San Siro.
A whole seven weeks has passed since the two sides drew 0-0 in what was a rather dull and uninspiring first leg, but there is plenty riding on tonight not just in terms of a final place but also regarding momentum in the Scudetto battle too. ➤ This is the 27th meeting between Inter and AC Milan in the Coppa Italia: the Rossoneri have won 10 times, while the Nerazzurri have eight victories (eight draws).
➤ Milan have qualified (or won the trophy) in five of their eight knockout matches against Inter in the Coppa Italia – however, the last time these two sides clashed in a two-legged tie (quarter-finals of 1999-00 campaign) the Nerazzurri were the ones to progress.
