Massimiliano Allegri’s agent has responded to the AC Milan and Napoli links, rather predictably giving very little away.
The latest news regarding Allegri came from Calciomercato.com, who claim that Milan have tabled a two-year contract offer to their former coach and that confidence is growing regarding him accepting.
The ex-Juventus coach is also believed to have spoken to Napoli though and the Scudetto winners were lining him up in the event of Antonio Conte’s farewell. Given there is no news on the Conte front just yet, the Rossoneri sensed the chance to make up for lost time and try rush things through.
Now, Allegri’s agent Giovanni Branchini has spoken about the future of his client. MilanPress have relayed his comments, which come from from Solomeo for the Golden Boy 2025 award ceremony.
“There is a movement of coaches. I read, I follow the news. Allegri more towards Napoli or Milan? I don’t see him anywhere,” he said.
“Until things materialise I don’t like to fuel what then become frivolous things towards the fans. I’m not sure that Napoli or Inter will decide to change. A domino effect could be triggered but today we are not sure.”
They won’t hit with this, you’ll see for yourself. But they choose him under pressure from the media.
