AC Milan have expressed an interest in re-signing Brahim Diaz for the third time, but Carlo Ancelotti has already made his stance clear to the Real Madrid hierarchy.
Marca cite a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport recently which suggested that Milan would explore the possibility of bringing Brahim back to the San Siro for what would technically be his third (second separate) spell at the club.
However, the Spanish source believe that instead the playmaker has unfinished business with Real Madrid, because the next challenge for the Moroccan international is to become a starter and the staff believe he can.
Brahim’s contract ends in two and a half years and although right now it is not an urgent objective to renew and extend the deadline, it is true that he is being counted on for the long-term future. The matter will be discussed in the summer, so there is no real urgency.
Real Madrid are not considering any exit as a result and there is ‘no option, at least for the moment’. The club’s philosophy regarding players is well known and they all have a price, but Brahim is one of the players they wish to keep and no offers have been forthcoming.
Ancelotti is very clear that the 25-year-old will play a key role in the coming weeks and months, especially with the injuries the forward department have been battling. The Real coach greatly admires the professionalism and contribution of the Malaga-born attacking midfielder.
The five goals he has scored for his national team in the last two games played are just another example for the coaching staff of what he is capable of, so any attempt from Milan looks like being instantly dismissed.
We when to diaz. To stay at bernabou
I would probably suggest getting adli or Daniel until we can get back Brahim, just a suggestion tho. There are many other good options if we want to buy.
