Angele: Bonucci hands in transfer request; Man City and Man Utd interested

By Isak Möller -

According to the reliable Vito Angele, Leonardo Bonucci has made a decision on his future with AC Milan.

In fact, the defender wanted by Man City, Man Utd and PSG has handed in a transfer request to the Rossoneri. Bonucci’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, had a long meeting with the Milan management a few days ago, during which the matter was discussed. Lucci explained to Fassone and Mirabelli that Bonucci has a desire to leave the club, with several teams interested in his services.

The captain would only remain at Milan with a serious and ambitious project, and thus the ball is in Elliott’s court. The American hedge fund will have to change Bonucci’s mind, as they wouldn’t want to lose their star player straight away.

Then again, Milan have not yet made a decision on whether to sell their star defender or not, and an important offer could arrive in the coming days. Man Utd and Man City are both interested in landing Bonucci, however, PSG could also put up a good fight in the race.
