Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has responded to rumours that his side are interested in a move for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie this month.
It was reported by Sky Italia that the Gunners are keen on a move for Kessie, who faces an uncertain future with the Rossoneri despite having been a starter for most of the season.
The outlet added though that Arsenal don’t want to pay the €25m asking price set by Milan, and the question was put to Arteta to see if there is any truth in the rumour during a press conference yesterday. As expected, he played it with a straight bat.
🏴 John Stones?
🙅♂️ "No. No truth at all."
🇨🇮 "Franck Kessie?"
