Franck Kessié has been surrounded by many rumours going all the way back to the summer window. On Thursday, reports have surface claiming that Arsenal are interested in the Ivorian midfielder.
Wolverhampton and West Ham are amongst the clubs who have been heavily tipped to make a move for the 23-year-old midfielder this month, the latter seemingly the most serious.
Now, Arsenal have allegedly made their interest known. Sky Italia – via MilanNews.it – are reporting that the Gunners have made an inquiry to the Rossoneri management about the Ivorian midfielder. However, they don’t intend to pay the €25million which Milan are requesting.
Arsenal have been rumoured as interested in Kessié before, but not to the stage that they’ve acted upon it. However, with Granit Xhaka potentially on the way out this month, there might be a spot to fill.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has previously denied the North London club’s interest in Kessié during a press conference earlier this month.
