AS: Napoli in talks with agent of €50m Milan and Arsenal target – player would accept move

By Oliver Fisher -

Napoli have met with the agent of Real Madrid striker and reported Milan target Luka Jovic over the idea of a summer move, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have been persistently linked with a move for Jovic over the past few weeks as they look to give incoming manager Ralf Rangnick a new centre-forward to work with, amid doubts over the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, a number of other teams have been credited with interest in the Serbia international, such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester and most recently Hertha Berlin.

According to the latest from Spanish outlet AS (via MilanNews), Napoli met Jovic’s agent Fali Ramadani yesterday to talk about 22-year-old.

Jovic is Napoli’s first choice in terms of alternatives to Lille striker Victor Osimhen who appears to be a step away from moving to Naples, but the interest of the English clubs plus the change of agent has complicated the plans.

Napoli had already spoken to Ramadani last March, so much so that the destination would be accepted by the player. A move could cost €50m, the report adds.
