AS: Valencia want Andre Silva; move could push €50m man to Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

A transfer merry-go-round involving three clubs may be about to happen as Jorge Mendes has reportedly offers Andre Silva to Valencia.

After intense speculation for the last few weeks, reports earlier on Tuesday suggested that Milan are finally closing in on the signing of Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid.

Personal terms between the Rossoneri and the forward were agreed some time ago as we exclusively revealed, but there was a distance between the two clubs over a fee.

However, a boost was handed to Milan as Atletico Madrid close in on Correa’s replacement – namely Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno – in a €60m deal.

This would free up Correa to move to the San Siro once Paolo Maldini and co. present an acceptable offer, while for Valencia the attentions have now turned to Rodrigo’s replacement.

According to Diario AS, the transfer cycle is nearing completion as they apparently could sign Silva from Milan to fill the void.

The Portugal international was close to moving to Monaco in a €30m deal, but it ended up falling through due to financial disagreements.

It was claimed that another LaLiga side in Espanyol have made an approach for the 23-year-old and have placed a €25m bid.

It now remains to be seen whether Mendes can work some magic and satisfy all three clubs involved.
