CM: Atalanta recover two important players ahead of Milan match

By Euan Burns -

Atalanta have managed to recover both Merih Demiral and Davide Zappacosta for the match against AC Milan on Sunday, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Bergamaschi have seen both Demiral and Zappacosta return to the group training sessions on Tuesday.

They will continue to train with the group and build their fitness throughout the week and it is expected that they will both play a role when Milan travel to Bergamo ready for the second game of the season.

As for new signing Ederson, he is continuing to do his own personalised training program and is not thought to be a factor on Sunday.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side managed to get their Serie A campaign off to a winning start as they won 2-0 away at Sampdoria thanks to goals from Rafael Toloi and new signing Ademola Lookman.

Milan have recovered Sandro Tonali for the match on Sunday night.
