Two players from AC Milan Women were selected for the Team of the Week while a number have been summoned for international duty, after the upcoming Coppa Italia action.
Two Milan players were named to the FIGC’s Team of The Week for Matchday Nine. Laura Agard and Christy Grimshaw earned top honors for their performances last weekend.
In particular, Agard made five blocks, three interceptions, and cleared two shots off the line. Grimshaw, on the other hand, made thirteen recoveries in the midfield. And as the FIGC noted, no player had that many recoveries that day. It was truly a commanding performance from the two of them.
