MN: Chelsea loanee without an appearance since January 17 and is not in Milan’s plans

By Oliver Fisher -

Tiemoue Bakayoko is on loan at AC Milan until summer 2023 but his future beyond the end of this season is ucnertain, a report claims.

MilanNews report that Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie are the midfielders that Stefano Pioli will rely on from now until the end of the season for the double pivot, and that is because Bakayoko is completely out of the Milan project.

The Frenchman’s agents were in Milano yesterday and assessments have been made about the future of the midfielder, because he has not played for the Rossoneri since 17 January in the 2-1 home defeat by Spezia.

As mentioned, the player arrived last summer on a two-year loan (until June 2023) but given that he has barely played in 2022 his return to Chelsea at the end of this season now seems likely, with updates expected in the coming weeks regarding the plans for the former Monaco man.

    1. Discriminative?, Tiemoue didn’t undertand Pioli’s tactic like what Meite did last season, he often spotted out of position and too much delay on the ball. Also an injury prone make him worst. For Hauge, yeah maybe he should go out for 1-2 season for a dry loan since he didn’t mature yet, but an option to buy for Frankfurt maybe not a good call.

    2. You never cease to amaze me with your comments agustinar first of all pioli is the coach with the highest wining percentage in milan since the mid 90ies and has done so with a far worse team than what the previous coaches had at their disposal. Add to that he broke several records while building a very young team and still we look like we will end up wining serie a.
The fact that you has the audacity to question his work and the ethics of his character when
pioli has done well beyond expectaions tells a lot more about you than about our coach.
You sound more like an inter or juventus fan when a majority pf what you write is negative in regard of the club.

  1. I think with 1/3 of the chances that have been given to Krunic we would’ve seen 2019 Bakayoko making Kessie’s departure less of a problem.

  2. He is not suitable for Pioli system’ double pivot , he is only good on conte 352 or Gattuso 433 . His performance when kessie and bennacer go to afcon are awful and make us lose to sassoulo. Return him to Chelsea when season ended are the best option
