Bakayoko hits out at the referee after Juventus-Milan controversy

AC Milan were on the brink of getting a great result at the Allianz Stadium, but Juventus eventually turned the game around after two costly mistakes by the Rossoneri.

However, the focus hasn’t been put on those mistakes after the game, but rather the referee’s performance. Milan were denied a clear penalty for a handball, which VAR even pointed out to referee Michael Fabbri.

However, after checking the pictures himself, Fabbri decided to go against the judgement of VAR by not awarding the penalty, something that the Milan players didn’t appreciate.

Bakayoko expressed his thought on Instagram after the game, criticising the referee: “A match of great intensity. It’s a pity that the referee didn’t follow the pace. The guys have to go on like this. Forza Milan”.
