The Marcus Rashford debacle will probably be the story of the winter mercato, and AC Milan are well in contention to land the out-of-favour Manchester United star.
A few years ago, if you had asked if Rashford to Milan was a possibility on loan, you probably would be rather intrigued. Logically, there is no reason why the Englishman would be available on such conditions, and with Rafael Leao, why would the Rossoneri need him.
However, it is now more than a possibility.
The Englishman has fallen down the pecking order in Manchester in recent years, and since Ruben Amorim’s arrival, an exit has seemed very probable, and his compatriot could be the one that attempts to be the best from him.
Reports have suggested that the Rossoneri are in a solid position to land Rashford, with the first meeting already been and gone. Now though, a new competitor has entered the fold.
As Matteo Moretto relays for Relevo, Barcelona have entered the race for Rashford, despite their financial difficulties. It is believed that the terms of a deal would remain the same (a loan with a buy clause).
Whilst there is no information about Rashford’s thoughts on the Blaugana interest, there have been suggestions that Milan are the ‘ideal choice’.
Crock of “you know what”. Barca couldn’t even register Olmo and Pau but are gonna go for Rashford? 🤣🤣🤣
What a twist of event. Barca is broke AF 😂
Barcelona would probably ask LaLiga to pay for Rashford’s salary as they themselves can’t.
barca is offering him spotify premium 20 $ per week and danicng classes with lewandowski
all the credible teams out there, they pick Barcelona…..
If only we put this effort into Osiman, Gokyeres or Sesko!
Agree – we should go all out on a top level striker in the summer instead of faffing about with Rashford or Vlahovic..
What’s with the periodic articles about Barcelona trying to hire this or that player? They are broke.
These are just journalistic rumors and click-bait.
In any case, I have doubts about these names, and I’d rather see Milan hire a better RB, a true DM, and a good deputy for Theo. It doesn’t seem that there is any movement in that direction, regretfully.
