There was a fear that AC Milan could be without Davide Bartesaghi for the derby this weekend, but it appears that he will be fine.
In the big games, you need players who understand the occasion, and Bartesaghi is one of them. A Milanista himself, the derby will be one of his biggest games of the season, and if he can aid a positive result, it will only be a good thing for him personally.
However, there were a few worries that he could be absent for the game, after he pulled up with a muscle injury in the late stages of the Cremonese game.
Fingers crossed
Corriere della Sera, though, report that this will not be the case. Indeed, as MilanNews relays, after his scans yesterday, Bartesaghi could be named as a starter for the Derby della Madonnina, which would be a huge boost.
The problem is less serious than expected, and an injury has been ruled out. So, he will now face a week of training to get ready for the game, and Massimiliano Allegri could rely on the academy graduate.

If it is not him, then Pervis Estupinan would take his spot at wing-back for Milan, presumably.

If its not him I would rather have Alexis in his place and Athekame on the right instead of the error prone Estupinan
A Milanista himself, not Milanisti.
Exactly.
If you are going to use Italian words at least learn to use them right.
Milanista = singular
Milanisti = plural
