AC Milan hope to have two of their own sons back this weekend for the Derby della Madonnina, but it may go to the wire.
In a derby, players need to understand what is at stake. So, having those in the team who know it truly matters. Milan, then, hope to have as many Milanisti in the squad for the clash, and they hope two will start.

The injury update
As Tuttosport writes, via MilanPress, it starts with Davide Bartesaghi, who came off on Sunday with a problem in his right flexor. Unfortunately, confidence in his recovery is low where the derby is concerned, but they will schedule tests for him in midweek.
Similar can be said for Matteo Gabbia, who is also facing a similar fate. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that he will undergo checks this week to understand the issue he is currently facing, as MilanVibes relays. It seems it could be more than a simple muscle strain, unfortunately.
As a result, these tests will clarify the issue and see whether he is eligible for the derby. Ultimately, they must be clear and show no longer term issue for the defender. Risking him for the big game could be a massive error.

We’re going to be playing with the ‘Stupe at LWB. God help us.
He did just fine in his last few games, so not worried.
I think the leauge is 98% blue … I can say that we dont deserve it … unless something sparks .. hoping for miracle is not a plan.
Sweating on Barts more than Gabbia. At least Gabbia has a capable replacement. Can’t say the same for Barts. Plus Barts can cross very well and is a good set piece taker
