Ismael Bennacer joined Duarte and Leao for the trio’s press conference this morning, expressing his delight over the move to the Rossoneri.
On the first emotions: “I feel very good, I’m happy. We have a team and a training facility to get to the top.”
On choosing Milan: “I’m growing up and Milan are the perfect team to learn even more and work well.”
On the role he prefers the most: “My favourite role is the regista one in front of the defence, but I can play where the manager wants me to play without issues.”
On Giampaolo: “He asked me to come and this means a lot to me. I love it, I’ll give it my best. I know my qualities and I know I can learn and improve.”
Accepting Milan move: “I was playing in the AFCONs, but when Milan called me I didn’t think about it too much. I knew they wanted me and this is the most important thing.”
On Giampaolo asking him to join: “I think he asked me to come because he likes how I play and I’m good for his style of play.”
