By Oliver Fisher -

Silvio Berlusconi is currently in intensive care in hospital having developed a cardiac problem, according to a report.

According to what La Repubblica (via SempreMilan.it) are reporting, Silvio Berlusconi was hospitalised again this morning at San Raffaele and is in intensive care in the cardiac surgery. Il Foglio (via Calciomercato.com) are stating that his condition ‘dramatic’.

This is a new hospitalisation for the former Milan owner, who was discharged on March 30 from the same hospital. Updates are awaited regarding the conditions of Berlusconi, and we of course extend our best wishes.

Berlusconi was in charge at Milan from 1986 to 2017 and it was certainly a successful era as the team won 29 trophies, including eight Scudetto and five Champions League titles.

After selling, the politician bought Monza who are based just 20 kilometres from Milan and are his hometown team, reuniting with Adriano Galliani and bringing them to the top flight.
