AC Milan’s attacking deficiencies are beginning to worry the management and they may choose to make an investment to try bolster the department, a report claims.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 40 years of age, Olivier Giroud is 35 and Pietro Pellegri is not convincing, so Calciomercato.com reports that changes could happen soon. Pellegri’s early farewell is possible given that Genoa and Torino are interested meaning his loan could be terminated six months in advance, and while a striker is not a priority for January there are plans for the summer.
Julian Alvarez of River Plate is a target, with Milan as well as Juventus thinking of trying to beat the competition with a move in January, perhaps to secure him in view of the summer and leaving him in Argentina to develop further. However, some Spanish and German clubs have already come forward and are determined to invest a significant amount to convince River to sell.
In recent days Maldini was offered Randal Kolo Muani who has a contract with Nantes expiring in June, but the Rossoneri want to study him calmly and have decided to come back to him later.
Udinese’s Beto is also on the list as Pozzo’s club will have to pay a sum between €10-13m to sign him outright from the Portuguese club Portimonense as per the loan agreement, and the Rossoneri will follow him carefully until the end of the season and then decide whether to make an offer.

I knew Pellegri isn’t a Milan level centerforward.
Actually he is exactly our level. We can either buy (read that loan) players that were in there prime when Baresi was a strapping young lad, or broken and ostracized has-beens, or children that are willing to play for fiod and logging and hope for the best.
That is our level. Bottom feeders.
