Bianchin: Okafor one of five Milan players who will miss Barcelona clash

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Barcelona on Wednesday morning European time and Stefano Pioli will have to make do without five of his first-team players. The new signing Noah Okafor is one of the players that will miss out.

Milan have just one game left of the pre-season tour in the United States, taking on Barcelona at 5 am CEST on Wednesday. The Rossoneri will be looking for their first win after losing 3-2 against Real Madrid and drawing 2-2 against Juventus.

As highlighted by Luca Bianchin of Gazzetta Dello Sport, Pioli will be without the following players for the game: Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Junior Messias and Noah Okafor.

Okafor recently recovered from a Metatarsal Fracture and has not been able to feature for the Rossoneri yet. Messias injured himself in the game against Real Madrid and Calabria was taken off against Juventus (but in time to avoid a serious injury).

Kalulu also returned to the Milan squad with a minor injury (he’s back in training, though) and Kjaer continues to struggle with playing consistently.
