Bodo/Glimt director suggests Milan can win Scudetto: “Just let Hauge play, he’s a phenomenon”

Following the 3-2 win against Bodo/Glimt back in September, Milan decided to sign Jens Petter Hauge just a few days later. Almost like the vintage Rossoneri strategy, signing players that perform well against them.

Just a few days after the game, the agreement was reached and Hauge flew down to Milan once again, this time to stay there permanently. And after eight appearances (two from start), the winger has registered two goals and one assist.

In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews.it, Bodo/Glimt’s sporting director Aasmund Bjørkan spoke about the transfer of Hauge. He also stated that the Rossoneri can win the league, as long as the Norwegian gets to play.

“They had noticed him a long time before, the Europa League match was only the spark. He was wanted in the Premier, Bundesliga and Serie A, but we held our word with Maldini. Milan can win the Scudetto, just let Hauge play. He’s a phenomenon, he’ll take care of it,” he stated.

Tomorrow evening, Milan will take on Sampdoria away from and Hauge is expected to play from the first minute. He will be looking to get another good goal after the solo run against Celtic, further proving his qualities even at this level.
