Bologna defender Mitchell Dijks has seemingly confirmed that AC Milan are interested in signing him for €20m this summer.
Despite the impending arrival of Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez, who has apparently undergone a full medical in Italy, reports emerged on Wednesday linking Dijks with a move to the Rossoneri.
Dutch outlet De Telegraaf claimed that Milan have made a €20m offer for the Bologna defender.
Responding to the rumours, he told Algemeen Dagblad: “Last year I was in the stands at Ajax and now a big club like Milan want to pay €20m for me.
“I don’t know what’s going on. I’m living life with a big smile. I like Serie A and who knows if I’ll be at a top club like Milan next season.”
The 26-year-old moved their a year ago from Ajax and was one of their more impressive players during a season in which they fought against the drop for the vast majority.
