AC Milan remain on the hunt for a central midfielder before the January window closes, and they have an eye on Warren Bondo of Monza.
Milan have found themselves in a difficult position when it comes to the midfield. Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders continue to start every game meaning that they are running the risk of being overworked, without any real alternatives at present.
Sergio Conceicao has shifted to a three-man midfield with Ismael Bennacer and Yunus Musah getting the nod. However, Musah has also been used quite a bit on the right and Bennacer is only just coming back after being out for months, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is out injured too.
Thus, a number of different targets have been mentioned from Morten Frendrup of Genoa to Reda Belahyane of Hellas Verona, but one name that has not gone away is Bondo as he continues to shine with Monza.
MilanNews report that the directors took note of a good performance against Fiorentina last night by the Frenchman, as Monza beat La Viola 2-1 in what was a surprise result. There is competition from Inter to contend with too, the report mentions, so a move might need to be made soon.

This current Italian generation of players are woefully mediocre. Slow, scared, uncreative. That is the reason why they go for foreign players. Italian players need to get better.
