Playmaker Brahim Diaz has once again insisted that he is happy to be at AC Milan and to be part of a group that ‘are all united’.

The 21-year-old joined Milan from Los Blancos on a season-long loan deal and has already impressed, leading to suggestions that the management will push to try and sign him on a permanent deal.

On Thursday night he scored Milan’s fourth goal to cap a fantastic comeback against Celtic and seal qualification for the Europa League knockout stages, moving his tally onto four goals for Milan in all competitions.

Brahim spoke to Milan TV at the end of the game, with his comments relayed by MilanNews and translated below.

“I’m very happy. The truth is that I’m very shy but on the pitch I feel good with all my teammates,” he said.

“It’s an impressive group. We are all united, maybe today we started like this because it was cold (laughs). The important thing is that we qualified. I’m happy for the goal but I’m happier for the team.”

He was also interviewed by Sky Italia, and he reiterated his happiness to be at the club.

“Pioli’s return was very positive, all the staff allowed us to work to the maximum but his presence gave us an edge,” he said (via MilanNews).

“We are very satisfied with the performance. I play where the coach tells me to play, I’m doing well but I have to improve, I’m very happy to be in this club.

“I’m very happy to be here, I feel very good, it’s a great club, I’m really very happy.”

On Ibrahimovic: “We are missing him a lot, he’s an incredible player, he always makes a difference but we’re focused on what we have to do.”

The Spain U21 international also recently gave an interview to Movistar during which he expressed his delight to be at Milan.
