Brahim Diaz reveals why is finding life at Milan ‘much easier’ than at Real Madrid

By Oliver Fisher -

Brahim Diaz has revealed that he is enjoying his time on loan at AC Milan from Real Madrid, shedding light on his relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 21-year-old joined Milan from Los Blancos on a season-long loan deal and has already impressed, scoring three times including two goals in the Europa League.

The Spain U21 international gave an interview to Movistar during which he talked about his time with the Rossoneri so far and how he has settled in.

“I have a great relationship with Ibrahimovic, he always gives me good advice and I get along quite well with him on and off the pitch,” he said.

“Ibrahimovic is at the age of my father but we already see what he is doing, he continues to make a difference. In football age does not count, it doesn’t matter if you are old or young.

“I’m enjoying myself. At Real Madrid I was very happy, with great team-mates. Now I am showing my football, showing what I can provide to the team, and it’s much easier. One always enjoys being able to play.”

Brahim Diaz was asked about his relationship with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.

“Zidane and I have a special and mutual affection. The relationship between he and I is very good. Now that I am in Milan we have less contact, but from time to time I receive a message from him,” he said.

“Everything about Zidane is questioned, but in the end he always wins. I have no doubt that my teammates from Real Madrid will achieve their objectives this season.”
