Brescia owner Massimo Cellino has said that the club can reject even a crazy offer for Sandro Tonali amid links with AC Milan.
Tonali has been linked with moves to many top clubs in Italy including Juventus, Inter, Napoli and Roma.
Reports in April had suggested that the Rossoneri had opened talks with the player’s representatives over a summer deal, but the fact that there is no sporting director in place has put the brakes on things for now.
Now, Cellino himself has poured cold water on speculation that Italy international Tonali will leave.
He told reporters at a Lega conference: “Tonali offers? I didn’t see them. However I don’t listen to proposals, the players I want to keep I keep them, I can afford them.
“We need players, not to sell them. Even if a crazy offer comes along. Remember, money does not play.”
