AC Milan defender Davide Calabria was not happy with the rhythm of the game as his side secured a point after a 1-1 draw against Roma.
It looked as though a dull game was heading for a goalless draw until the fourth minute of added time at the end of the 90. Roma got themselves ahead when Tammy Abraham beat Pierre Kalulu to a feed inside the box, taking a touch and firing into the bottom corner.
With the over 50,000 fans celebrating what looked like a home victory, Milan stunned the crowd and snatched a point. Rafael Leao picked up possession on the left wing and crossed to the far post where the substitute Alexis Saelemaekers was waiting to bundle in a late leveller.
The Rossoneri captain Calabria spoke after the game on Milan TV and tried to pick apart what was a dull game with an explosive ending, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“A strange game. It wasn’t good, I didn’t like the pace at all, too many breaks. It was not at the level of Roma-Milan with the talent that was on the pitch,” he said.
“Aside from the rhythm we did not find the final flicker. Of course we made mistakes technically. Luckily we finally straightened it out and got a draw.
“Head to head games are fundamental, the points are worth double. We came here with the idea of winning and on the pitch I had the feeling we could be better than them. Unfortunately we missed something in the last 20 metres.”
Yes its is calabria not like the pace coz you havent that pace as a right fullback
