Calabria the only Milan player at risk of suspension but there is one concern

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of tomorrow’s encounter with Crotone at San Siro, Milan are preparing themselves at Milanello and will sleep at a hotel this evening. The Rossoneri are clear favourites, but one of their men will have to watch out.

Davide Calabria is one yellow card away from suspension, having received four this season, and he will have to be careful. On the other hand, if he makes it tomorrow, he would be at risk for the derby against Inter.

Although the best option would be for the right-back to avoid a yellow card against both Crotone and Spezia, it doesn’t seem too likely. If Stefano Pioli intends to start him in both games, it might be wise to take a ‘tactical’ yellow card tomorrow.

The upcoming two games are a great opportunity to clinch six points and build some confidence ahead of the derby. Therefore, it would be a shame to be without the best right-back in the squad, but Calabria and Pioli will surely know what to do.
