Calabria: “Torino are always tough, we have to react immediately”

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the game against Torino, Davide Calabria spoke to MilanTV (via MilanNews.it) about the Rossoneri’s current situation, stating that they need to react right away following the loss in the derby.

On the post-derby feelings: “It’s never easy to lose a derby but we have to react immediately and turn the page because we have some important matches today and on Sunday.”

The right-back served a one-game suspension against Inter, following the red card he received in the dying minutes of the clash with Hellas Verona. However, Conti failed to impress and thus Calabria is back in action.

On Torino: “They are always a difficult team to deal with. They leave you with no space. They played very well at home last season and we have to come here with the desire to play and with a lot of determination. Grit, desire and character.”

The Rossoneri are in desperate need of a win after the disappointing loss in the derby, which left everyone with a bitter taste. Fortunately, Giampaolo has decided to opt for Bennacer and Hernandez in the starting eleven, as AC Milan confirm.

Hopefully, these changes will add some much-needed pace to the game, which Giampaolo’s side certainly has lacked at the start of the season. With Bennacer in the midfield, rather than Biglia, we can expect to see this in tonight’s game.
