MN: Cardinale arriving in Milan to continue work on new stadium

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale will soon be arriving in Milan so that he can continue work on moving into a new stadium away from the San Siro, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the businessman who runs RedBird Capital Group will continue pushing for the Rossoneri to have their new stadium.

It says a lot about the importance of moving into a new stadium that Cardinale is back in Italy so soon after he was previously in the country.

He is not expected to be meeting with Paolo Maldini as he has no interest in using this visit to interfere with the sporting side of the operation, he is there for business purposes.

He wants to tick off lots of appointments in and around the city that can try and speed up the process. He is very open to building a stadium away from San Siro and Inter.
