AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale and CEO Giorgio Furlani were seen arriving to meet with Mayor Beppe Sala on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the stadium issue.
The future of where Milan and Inter will be playing has re-entered the headlines this week as Milan now seem willing to split from the Nerazzurri and build a new stadium at La Maura, a site not far from San Siro.
It is likely that the Milan executives want information from Sala on the timeframe of a new San Siro.

I hope we all live long enough to see that new stadium, wherever it may be. We’ve been waiting for ages. We need this desperately to even come close to being competitive again in the Champions League.
