MN: Cardinale may not be present at Milan-Napoli due to ‘many commitments’

It could be that Gerry Cardinale is not present at AC Milan’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Napoli, a report claims.

MilanNews report that Cardinale very much wants to be there for Milan’s first game at this stage of the competition in over a decade given he is the owner of the club, however he may be forced to watch from afar.

The report claims that the ‘many commitments’ of the RedBird Capital No.1 mean that he cannot be present in the stands of the San Siro for the match between the Rossoneri and the Partenopei.

It comes after reported last week which suggested that Cardinale would land in Italy not only to watch the game but also to hold another round of meetings regarding the project to build a new stadium. However, it seems as though a decision will be made last minute regarding whether he can attend.
