Tuttosport: Chelsea enquire about Milan star but are met with €60m+ valuation

By Oliver Fisher -

Chelsea have enquired about AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez but have so far been met by a wall in their pursuit of him, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how Theo continues to be one of the best left-backs in the world and therefore he has no shortage of admirers, with Chelsea the latest club to come forward and ask Milan about his situation given Ben Chillwell will be out for some time.

However, they were told that the Frenchman is not for sale unless a colossal figure comes forward of €60m or more, and without that then Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara would not even go to the negotiating table.

He is a pillar of the Rossoneri and that is why the club are working to secure him by extending his contract until 2026. The decisive acceleration has not yet taken place, but the contacts between the parties continue and the hope is that an agreement will soon be reached.

Theo is back after spending his Christmas holidays in Dubai and is ready to resume training at Milanello tomorrow afternoon, hoping for an upturn in form after some rest.

    1. Hahahah, I have a good left back from Croatian 2nd league, maybe we should put him in the first team right away? He played more serious matches than Kerkez. 😀
