There is a huge gap between AC Milan and Chelsea regarding the valuation of Mike Maignan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Thus, with the first summer window (due to the Club World Cup) now open, a crossroads has been reached. The Rossoneri must look to either renew Maignan’s deal or cash in now before they potentially lose him on a free transfer.
Chelsea’s low-ball offer
According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Milan are ‘not close on valuation’ for Maignan. The Diavolo want around €30m to sell a goalkeeper who is the starter for the French national team and has been one of the best in Europe.
However, Chelsea ‘will not pay that as they value Maignan at €10m’, largely because of the fact he is out of contract in 2026. The Blues ‘will not wait longer than Monday’ as they are also happy with the four goalkeepers in their squad.
Our colleagues at Football Italia report that the Premier League side are unwilling to pay more than €15m for Maignan, who will turn 30 next month. However, the former Lille man ‘is keen to join Chelsea’ after four years at San Siro, where talks over a new deal are stalling.
